Continuing Education welcomes more than 20,000 registrants to some 1,200 courses annually. Offerings include certificate-credit, and stand-alone courses and seminars—all of which are designed with part-time learners in mind. Continuing Education instructors actively work in their fields of expertise or teach regularly at the University of Calgary.
A diverse array of courses and seminars are delivered at the main campus, online, and at the University of Calgary Downtown Campus. Many courses can be credited towards certificate or professional designation programs.
Academic upgrading is available for students seeking admission of University of Calgary faculties. Customized training for groups—from public, corporate or non-profit organizations—is also available.
Continuing Education offers degree credit through the Minor in Workplace Learning program.
