Research Interests

My MA thesis concerns the experiences of urban Indigenous women in Calgary, Alberta, who rely on short-term and informal housing arrangements with friends, family, and romantic partners. I am interested in exploring the intersection of gender and culture in shaping housing needs and preferences, and hope that my research will contribute to more culturally responsive outreach in the future.
