Professional Description
Dr. Jeanne Perreault studies and teaches American women’s writing, aboriginal literature of
North America, photography, and theories of subjectivity, race and
gender. She has published two books on autobiography, many articles on
American poetry, and is currently at work co-editing two collections of
essays, one on indigenous feminism and another on photography. Her most
recent graduate course in American literature dealt with Southern
literature, race and gender.
