Sharaz Khan is an Instructor of Business Technology Management (BTMA), since 2008. He holds a Bachelors in Economics and MIS. He has a Master's in Health Management Systems from Rush University, Chicago, IL and a Master's in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He teaches at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels.

Sharaz's focus is on the alignment and impact of business strategy to strategic technology direction. This includes operational systems as well as emerging technology systems.  He is passionate about how industry and academia can play a much greater role in forming partnerships for the advancement of society – strengthening relationships to not only business problems but social conditions, locally and internationally. His other research interests include sensory technology, exponential organizations, public policy, governance, organization ethiics/trust, education assessments and health care.

Sharaz is a mentor for students engaged in BTMA projects and facilitates their skills development for external business case competitions.
