About me:

I'm Colombian and I have a BA in Communications and Audiovisual Languages from Universidad de Medellín in my hometown, and an MSc in Cultural Industries and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham in England. My main research interest is the relationship between cultural industries, its creators and audience. I have also worked with innovation, entrepreneurship and public policy. I speak Spanish and English. The reason to choose the University of Calgary was mainly the possibility of working with people from different backgrounds and languages.

My favourite novel would probably be amongst Terry Pratchett's Discworld books, Mort is the first I think of right now. And, although saying just one favourite movie is difficult, I would say that my favourite is 24 Hour Party People, because combining music and film is always winning combo for me.

My supervisor is Dr. Angela George and my co-supervisor Dr. Gregory Taylor.
