ARCH 406 - Design Thinking in the Built Environment Studio I - Fall 2022

A foundational introduction to design thinking as applied to the built environment of buildings, cities, and landscapes. Students will complete a series of experiential learning exercises that emphasize three-dimensional thinking and problem-solving skills. The course is offered in a studio environment, which along with the course-work, will provide valuable experience to develop a portfolio.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Architecture 201 or Architectural Studies 201.

Antirequisite(s)

  • Credit for Architecture 406 and any of Architectural Studies 484, Environmental Design Architecture 580, or Architecture 506 will not be allowed. Also known as: (formerly Architectural Studies 431)
