Profile

In my tenth year at the Faculty of Social Work I am focusing on ways that practitioners see themselves as researchers and ways that social workers can utilize nonviolence in their practices. I am part of a team developing ways to educate practitioners to embrace family therapy ideas into their diverse practices. As Coordinator of the Doctoral and Thesis Programs, I aim to facilitate graduate researchers in producing projects that embrace social justice.

Research and Scholarly Activity

Together with Dr. Sally St. George, we are working on what we call Research As Daily Practice, practical ways that practitioners can research what they do (and what they could do) in the course of their regular practice.
