TOUR 469 - Profit & Control Tourism & Hosp - Fall 2007

Profit and Control in Tourism and Hospitality Examination of the information systems useful in value-added processes within tourism and hospitality organizations. Interpretive, analytical, and judgmental skills will be applied in the study of quality and environmental costs, JIT and ABC costing, cash management, performance evaluation, and other topics.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Third year standing, admission to the Haskayne School of Business, Accounting 317, and Tourism Management 309 or Leisure, Tourism and Society 309 with minimum grades of C-; or consent of the Haskayne School of Business
