Research Interests

My research focuses on how Climate Change is impacting archaeological sites on Qikiqtaruk (formerly Herschel Island) in the Western Canadian Arctic. More specifically, I am using aerial imagery produced by drones to measure coastal change occurring due to erosion, permafrost melt, storm surge events and driftwood deposition.  My other interests include Indigenous consultation and engagement, oral history documentation, culture-contact, Geoarchaeology, faunal analysis, 3D modeling and the archaeology of Western Canada.
