Research Interests

Hartmut Krentz, PhD is a Medical Anthropologist and is the Research Director at the Southern Alberta HIV/AIDS clinic. Dr Krentz’s research interests within Anthropology include applied medical anthropology, biological anthropology, primate paleontology, human osteology, Hutterites. With HIV/AIDS, his research interests include cross cultural HIV/AIDS illness construction, cost of care issues, epidemiological trends, immigrants, movement and migration (“churn”), intimate partner violence, pill burden and aging.
