CHEM 373 - Physical Chemistry: Quantum Chemistry - Fall 2013

Lectures: Elementary quantum mechanical treatment of the energy levels of atoms and molecules. Atomic spectra. Symmetry elements, operations, and point groups. Laboratory: Experimental measurements, interpretations, and calculations relating to the topics discussed in lectures.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Chemistry 201 or 211, and 203 or 213; Physics 213 or 223; Mathematics 253 or 263 or 283 or Applied Mathematics 219.

Antirequisite(s)

  • Credit for both Chemistry 373 and Physics 443 will not be allowed.
