Profile

Lauren Bresee obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2001 at the University of Alberta, and completed a hospital pharmacy residency in the former Capital Health Authority in Edmonton in 2002. She then went on to finish a Master of Science in Medical Sciences-Public Health Sciences in 2005, and a PhD in clinical epidemiology at the University of Alberta in 2010. Lauren then completed a post-doctoral fellowship position with the Alberta Kidney Disease Network at the University of Calgary in October 2012.  Lauren is a Scientific Advisor with the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), focused on the Common Drug Review and Scientific Advice programs.  She also maintains research involvement with the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies (CNODES).  Lauren has research expertise in the areas of pharmacoepidemiology and clinical epidemiology.
