Profile
I received my BA (Honours) in economics from Queen's University in 1988 and my PhD in economics from the University of British Columbia in 1993. I have taught at the University of Calgary since 1993.
I am currently the Program Director for Health Policy in the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary and I am the Managing Editor of Canadian Public Policy/Analyse de politiques.
From 2007 to 2012 I was the Svare Professor in Health Economics which was a joint appointment between the Department of Economics, and the Department of Community Health Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine.
