An introduction to the modelling and simulation of stochastic systems; programming language issues; model and tool design; input data modelling; simulation experiments; and the interpretation of simulation results.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • MATH 321 is recommended over STAT 205 or 211 as preparation for this course. CPSC 441 is also recommended as preparation for this course.

  • CPSC 457 and one of MATH 321 or STAT 205 or 211.
