Component block diagram of feedback control systems and examples. Mathematical modeling of dynamic systems; state-pace representation and frequency domain representation of dynamic systems. Basic control actions and industrial controllers. Transient response analysis and steady-state error analysis. Root-locus analysis and design. Frequency response analysis; Nyquist stability criterion and analysis. Design and compensation techniques. Introduction to digital control systems.
