Approaches to identify, gather and critically analyze strategic information needed to assess planning situations and support decision-making. Focuses on both quantitative and qualitative planning methods. Potential topics include: population forecasting, trend analyses, needs assessment, program and policy evaluation, and SWOT analysis.
