GEOG 357 - Geographic Information Systems I - Winter 2008

Geographic Information Systems I The technical and theoretical foundations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Explorations of data types and structures (raster, vector, object based), data input and manipulation, analytical basics, and visualization techniques will be carried out in lecture and laboratory. Case studies of GIS analysis form the basis of assignments.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
