TOUR 469 - Profit & Control Tour & Hosp - Fall 2009

Examination of the information systems useful in value-added processes within tourism and hospitality organizations. Interpretive, analytical, and judgmental skills will be applied in the study of quality and environmental costs, JIT and ABC costing, cash management, performance evaluation, and other topics.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • It is recommended that this course be taken before Tourism Management 439 and, Not open to students with credit in Accounting 361.

Prerequisite(s)

  • Admission to the Haskayne School of Business, and successful completion of 10 full-course equivalents including Accounting 317 and Tourism Management 309, or consent of the Haskayne School of Business.
