TOUR 479 - Resort & Recreation Management - Fall 2009

Concepts and methods of resort planning, management and marketing, including recreational and event management for the resort environment. Case studies of real and proposed resorts from different environments will be used. Field visits to one or more resorts will be an essential part of the course.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Enrolment is restricted to Bachelor of Hotel and Resort Management students and Tourism Management concentrators until August 15

Prerequisite(s)

  • Admission to the Haskayne School of Business and successful completion of 10 full-course equivalents including Tourism Management 309, or consent of the Haskayne School of Business.
