BTMA 321 - Information Technology in Business - Spring 2017

Introduction to the fundamentals of business technology management and how such systems facilitate business transactions and decision-making at all levels of management. Topics examine the development, organization, management, control, and evaluation of information systems. Societal implications of the use of computer and networking technologies in business are also examined.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Not available for credit towards the Bachelor of Commerce degree. Preference in enrolment is given to students who have declared a Management and Society Minor. Also known as: (formerly Management Information Systems 321)


  • 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents).


  • Credit for both Business Technology Management 321 and 317 will not be allowed.
