Introduces the functional areas of business and their integration for effective and efficient operation of organizations in a variety of sectors. Emphasizes effective team work skills, research skills and decision-making, using experiential learning modules to study issues encountered by organizations. Provides foundation for senior courses in the Haskayne School of Business. Required for Bachelor of Commerce students or for those students intending to apply to the Bachelor of Commerce. NOTE: Not available for credit towards the Management and Society minor. Until August 15, preference in enrolment is given to Haskayne School of Business students.
