PLMA 475 - Introduction to Petroleum Land Management - Winter 2013

Petroleum land management including both technical and economic considerations in the search for and development and marketing of oil and gas resources. A field trip and/or simulation exercise may be required.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Credit for both Petroleum Land Management 475 and Energy Management 403 will not be allowed. One half 200-level course in Geology is recommended. Also known as: (formerly Petroleum Land Management 375)

Prerequisite(s)

  • Admission to the Bachelor of Commerce program, competitive admission to the Petroleum Land Management concentration, successful completion of 10 full-course equivalents including Business and Environment 395, or holder of a Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent.

  • Petroleum Land Management 477.
