SGMA 589 - Project-Based Seminar - Winter 2018

Self-directed hands-on research project based on a live "case". Working in groups, students identify a multinational company facing an international strategy issue, conduct primary and secondary research, analyze impediments, and apply knowledge and skills gained to provide actionable recommendations for managers in charge of international strategy. Final projects may be submitted as IVEY teaching cases in cooperation with interested faculty.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Admission to, and consent of, the Haskayne School of Business and 60 units (10.0 full-course equivalents) including Strategy and Global Management 371.

  • Strategy and Global Management 577 or 579.
