HTST 489 - Espionage & State, 500 Bc - 1939 - Fall 2011

The rise of modern intelligence services in the West with particular attention to Twentieth Century developments. Changes in the role, importance and technology of intelligence will be assessed. The contribution of intelligence to political and military strategy in selected major conflicts will be examined.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
