Systems of equations and matrices, vectors, matrix representations and determinants. Complex numbers, polar form, eigenvalues, eigenvectors. Applications.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • A grade of 70 per cent or higher in Mathematics 30-1 or Pure Mathematics 30. (Alternatives are presented in C. Mathematics Competency Equivalents in the Academic Regulations section of this Calendar).

Antirequisite(s)

  • Credit for Mathematics 211 and 213 will not be allowed.
