AMAT 407 - PART DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS FOR ENGG - Winter 2001

Boundary value problems, Fourier integral, Fourier series, orthogonal functions and Sturm-Liouville systems. Partial differential equations, including theory and classification, solution by separation of variables, integral transforms, and similarity transformations. Tensor calculus including differential operations, curvilinear coordinates and physical components.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
