MATH 023 - Advanced Statistical Computing in S-Plus - Winter 2001

This course is intended for students who have some previous experience with the statistical language S-Plus and UNIX. The focus is on implementation of advanced statistical models in S-Plus. Thie specific models discussed will normally include one or more of the following: analysis of variance; generalized linear; generalized additive; local regression; tree-based; and non-linear.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
