Simple harmonic oscillations. Progressive waves in 1 dimension. Energy of a wave. Superposition. Standing waves. Newtonian mechanics of rigid body rotation.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

Prerequisite(s)

  • Physics 211 or 217 or 221; Mathematics 211 or 213 or 221; and 253 or 263 or Applied Mathematics 219.
