Our research group’s interests are concerned with broad questions like: How does energy flow among different parts of a molecule? How are complex polyatomic molecules created in space, and why do astronomers find so many of them in outer space? We are also interested in understanding condensation pathways that can be taken between the gas and condensed phases of matter by using supersonic jet and long-path low-temperature IR spectra of molecular complexes and clusters
