PHIL 345 - Issues in Environmental Ethics - Fall 2019

A philosophical examination of how humans conduct themselves in relation to other living species and the natural environment. May include: obligations to future generations; animal liberation theories; population policy; pollution; the value of species diversity and species preservation; biocentric and holistic ethical theories of environment; ethical dimension of environmental policy formation. Also known as: (formerly Philosophy 447)
