GERM 315 - German Cultures in the Past - Winter 2012

Study of an historical period through authentic German texts of various types (e.g. literary, journalistic, informational) with the goal of improving reading comprehension and textual analysis skills. Practice in articulating abstract and complex ideas orally and in writing. This course includes on-line independent study modules (blended learning).
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Not open to students with credit in German 333 or 401. Strongly recommended for all majors and minors, following German 313 and 331 and concurrently with German 333. Enrollment in any higher level German course requires a grade of at least "C-" in the prerequisite course(s), or consent of the Department
