About me:

I obtained my B.A. in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Northwest Normal University in China. Currently, I am a master's student in Applied Linguistics at the University of Calgary.  I choose the University of Calgary to pursue a higher degree because it is a top research university in Canada and it has a huge variety of attractive courses. I am interested in working with Dr. Wei Cai. My research focus is second language acquisition, and I hope to do studies about the acquisition of Chinese as a Second Language.

I am an optimistic person, always willing to learn new things and helping someone in need. I am fluent in Chinese and English. If possible, I hope to learn French. I like watching documentaries about history and culture, practicing Chinese calligraphy, and visiting places of interest in my leisure time. I like going to the gym and climbing with my friends. My favorite books include Le Petit Prince and Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
