About Me

I began my language education when I was in first grade, I was immediately enrolled in a French immersion program and from there language became one of my passions. Today I speak English and French fluently, and some Cantonese. I graduated from the University of Calgary with my B.A in French, and I am now working towards my M.A with specializations in French. My research interests include, linguistics, second language acquisition and second language education.

I chose the University of Calgary for my M.A because of the SLLLC faculty that encouraged me throughout my B.A and helped to carve out my next steps in my academic journey. The University of Calgary faculty allow me to explore various research and work opportunities and guided me to where I am today.

In my spare time outside of school I enjoy learning new languages, volunteering, and reading!
