About Me

I hail from Anlo-Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region of Ghana but I was raised in Cote d’Ivoire one of the Francophone Countries that share borders with Ghana. Coming to Ghana during vacations gave me an exposure to the English Language as well. For that matter I developed a keen interest in both Languages. I speak French, English, Spanish, Ewe and Twi.

In July 2020, I graduated from the University of Cape Coast where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in French with First Class Honours.

I am currently enrolled in MA in Applied Linguistics (French) at the University of Calgary, Canada. My motivation for choosing to pursue my studies at the University of Calgary is that this university is well known in the field of education and the science of teaching and learning. This will enhance my ability to function as a tutor in universities and to work with research institutions after my training at the University of Calgary.

My research interest includes second language acquisition, sociolinguistics and morpho-syntax among others.

I enjoy reading fictions that reflect the reality in the society. I like watching movies as well. Most importantly, I love reading any literature that depicts or points to the relationship between mankind and the Creator of the universe.
