About me:

I was born in Nigeria and raised on the campus of the University of Ibadan, where I also obtained a B.A in French (1st Class Hons.) and an M.A. in French Studies (Distinction). Growing up on the university campus stirred my interest in the teaching profession as I was essentially raised by a community of teachers and university lecturers. I have a keen interest in understanding the dynamics of the male-female relationship in families, especially with a focus on the African setting. I am now pursuing a PhD degree with research interest in representations of masculinities in some West-African narratives.

I speak Yoruba, English, French and a little bit of German. I enjoy classical music and stage plays. I do not have a favourite author or book (yet) but I love reading Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's and Chinua Achebe’s books.
