Vida i Obra de Joan de Gualbes i Copons

Abstract

Joan Ferrer Bonaventura de Gualbes i Copons (1643-1714), alongside being a soldier and a patriot who organized several attempts against the French and the combined Franco-Spanish troops during the War of the Spanish Succession, was above all a burlesque poet. This work examines his life and poetic production, preserved in several manuscripts scattered around the world.
