SOWK 617 - Advanced Trauma Interventions - Winter 2024

Focus on the nature and impact of specific intervention strategies applied to people whose jobs and professional responsibilities place them at high risk for working in traumatic situations; police, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians, military personnel, frontline workers; and by specific traumatic experiences such as immigrants and refugees, people experiencing life-threatening illnesses, and those who care for them.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
