The project included biannual physiological testing of the student-athletes, annual questionnaires to three population (students, parents and coaches), annual teacher interviews, and annual compilation of the athlete’s performance rankings. The goal was to evaluate the effectiveness of the NSS in both areas of athletic and academic achievement on a yearly basis. The results were used to implement changes on an ongoing basis.
