The current project includes the development of wavelet based filtering methods for time series such as electromyographic signals recorded from muscles. The application has led to a commercially available software package for analyzing electromyograms by means of wavelets sold by Biomechanigg Inc. Calgary. Pattern recognition methods are currently adapted to recognize features of movements in human motion and to correlate these features with kinematic data.
