Profile

Stacey Page, PhD is the Chair of the Conjoint Research Ethics Board, which serves the Cumming School of Medicine and Faculties of Nursing and Kinesiology.  She is a member of the Human Research Ethics Board at Mount Royal University as well as a member of the Research Ethics Board at the Alberta College of Art and Design.  She has previously served a term as an Associate Chair on the Health Research Ethics Board, University of Alberta. Dr. Page has also served on the Executive of the Canadian Bioethics Society and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards.  She is a member of the Panel on Research Ethics, Cell Line Advisory Subcommittee, which is revising guidance relating to cell line research.

Her primary research interests (not surprisingly!) focus on research ethics, particularly as they apply to consent, privacy, secondary data use, biobanks and precision medicine.  Secondary research interests include complementary and alternative medicine, scope of practice and professional ethics.
