An introduction to university chemistry from theoretical and practical perspectives, that focuses on an exploration of the fundamental links between electronic structure, chemical bonding, molecular structure and the interactions of molecules using inorganic and organic examples.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite(s)
- Chemistry 30 or 212 (or Continuing Education - Chemistry 2) and one of Mathematics 30-1, 212 or Mathematics 2 (offered by Continuing Education).
Antirequisite(s)
- Credit for Chemistry 201 and any of 209, 211, 301 or Engineering 204 will not be allowed.
