An introduction to university chemistry from theoretical and practical perspectives that focuses on an exploration of the fundamental links between kinetics, equilibria and thermodynamics and explores acidity/basicity and redox behaviour using inorganic and organic examples.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite(s)
- Chemistry 30 or 212 (or Continuing Education - Chemistry 2) and one of Mathematics 30-1, 212 or Mathematics 2 (offered by Continuing Education).
Antirequisite(s)
- Credit for Chemistry 203 and any of 209, 213, 301 or Engineering 204 will not be allowed.
