Profile

Dr. Sachin Pendharkar is a respirologist and sleep physician at the FMC Sleep Centre at the University of Calgary. He completed medical school at the University of Western Ontario, residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto, and Respirology and Sleep fellowships at the University of Calgary. Dr. Pendharkar is an Associate Professor and health services researcher in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences, where his research focuses on patient flow and innovative models of care to improve access for patients with sleep disorders. He is co-chair of the provincial Sleep Disorders Working Group in Alberta and an executive member of the Canadian Sleep and Circadian Network. He has held research funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, The Lung Association and Alberta Innovates.
