DRAM 225 - Introduction to Scenography - Fall 2016

An introduction to performance design and the disciplines within it: scenery, props, lighting, costumes and sound. Includes a study of the history of theatre design and space. Topics regarding contemporary notions of scenography will be explored, for example performance art, ritual, etc.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Attendance at two live theatre performances will be required. This course is required for all Dram majors, but is open to all undergraduate students for registration.

Antirequisite(s)

  • Not open to students with credit for Drama 222.
