About Me

I completed my BA in English at Shandong University and obtained a master's degree in Translation and Interpreting from Nanaki University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Applied Linguistics. Teaching Chinese to international students has inspired my research interests in second language acquisition, especially Chinese as a second language.

I chose the University of Calgary to pursue my doctoral degree because I believe there is a strong match between my research interests and the program offered here. I am confident that I can make academic progress during my PhD time.

During my leisure time, I enjoy watching movies, reading, and listening to music. These activities allow me to create a utopian world where I can recharge my energy. Recently, I have also made plans to engage in regular exercise, and I sincerely hope to follow through with it.
